Under Secretary Mancuso Addresses Small and Medium Sized Businesses in New York

On October 12, Under Secretary for Industry and Security Mario Mancuso addressed a CEO roundtable for small and medium sized businesses hosted by Mayor Phillip A. Amicone in Yonkers, New York. Mancuso highlighted opportunities that the pending free trade agreements and recent export control reforms would create for U.S. businesses and workers, and discussed their concerns about U.S. competitiveness in the global markets.

"BIS is working to increase secure exports for the small and medium-sized U.S. companies that are so instrumental to the health of the U.S. economy," Mancuso said. "Congressional passage of Free Trade Agreements with economies like Peru and Colombia will facilitate trade with key markets in South America."

The CEO roundtable was organized with the assistance of the Westchester Export Assistance Center and the City of Yonkers Office of Economic Development.
